OUR MATRIC RESULTS 2009 30 March 2010 MATRIC RESULTS – 100 PERCENT PASS RATE FOR NORTHLANDS GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL Consistent hard work paid off for the matriculants from Northlands Girls’ High School. The school received 100% pass rate with 95% achieving “Bachelors Degree” passes (previously known as exemption passes). “We are proud of our grade 12 class of 2009. Their success can be attributed to a collaboration between the girls, their teachers and their parents. We wish them well in their future endeavours,” said Mrs Moonsamy, Head of Grade 12 at Northlands. Sharon Chung achieved 8 As and Sirini Moodley 7 As. 6 As went to Kerisha Bhajan, Andrea Bodill, Micaela Clark, Terrina Govender, Vernique Naidoo, Akira Naidu, Jezelle Naidu, Celine Perumal and Khushbu Soni. 5 As to Alma Breed, Namishka Budhoo, Nicole David, Sine Lunga, Lusanda Madlala, Serika Mahabeer, Priyanka Moodley, Bernadette Mundy, Larissa Naidoo, Mbale Njoko, Chandre Prangley and Tegan Scales. Principal of Northlands, Mrs Ann Vat, said: “Northlands has always been a top academic school and another year with 100 percent pass rate displays our consistent commitment to academics.
