FROM THE NGHS MARKETING DESK 21 July 2010 Welcome back to all our girls and staff at NGHS! I would like to extend my thanks to all the staff and pupils who have made me feel so welcome at Northlands Girls’ High and for all the assistance and help I have had in finding my feet! We started the term announcing to all the girls that the NGHS Marketing Desk is on the lookout for reporters! So, you may wish to remind your daughter of the following: If your daughter has a positive, motivating and interesting story about herself, a classmate, or even her teacher, please ask her to leave her name, grade, email address and brief description of the story in an envelope at reception for the attention of Mrs Kelly. If your daughter has an event or competition coming up which you feel is of interest, you can notify me at kelly@nghs.kzn.school.za If your daughter is considering a career in journalism or photography, please remind her to let me know as I have some exciting opportunities this year! My office has been inundated in the last two days with wonderful stories from karate, to rock climbing, modelling to volunteer work, so don’t be shy! Let us be proudly Northlands! Keep an eye on both local and national press for fabulous stories about the wonderful activities of our pupils and staff.
