Shepstone House
The Administrator of Natal, the Hon Denis G Shepstone, who officially opened the school on 14 October 1949.
Vaughan House
Named after the first principal of Durban North Primary School, R J Vaughan.
Banks House
Named after the then Director of Education, Reginald A Banks.
Lewis House
Jack Lewis, who was Member of Parliament for Durban North.
