The aim of the Old Girls’ Association is to help Old Girls keep in touch with each other and to foster goodwill towards our school in the community. Regular newsletters are e-mailed to members and Old Girls are encouraged to send news and photos for inclusion in the newsletters. Functions are held during the year to bring Old Girls together. Regards, Laurelle Barnett Chairlady

Proudly NGHS

We love hearing from our past pupils and keeping up to date with their careers and successes. Founders’ Day and our Annual Speech Night and Prize-Giving are both important dates in the school calendar when we invite past pupils to be Guest Speakers. NGHS Old Girls can be found throughout the world excelling in the arts, sciences, media, law, education and sport to name just a few careers. If you are a past pupil of the school and would like to share your journey with our current pupils via the school newsletter and other media please contact marketing@nghs.co.za with the following information:

  • Your name and surname
  • Matriculation year
  • Tertiary education details
  • Awards, accolades and achievements to date
  • Your current position and a brief job description
  • Your goals
  • Your best memory of NGHS
  • A quote to inspire and motivate
  • A photograph
